This policy explains what we do with the information you give us. It is deliberately short, because we do not do very much with it.

What we collect
- When you enquire: your name, phone number, email address if you give one, your postcode or area, what you need clearing, and any photographs you send us.
- When you use the website: standard server logs including IP address, which our host keeps for security purposes.
Why we use it
To quote for your job, to contact you about it, to carry out the work, and to keep the records we are legally required to keep as a waste carrier. We rely on legitimate interests to respond to your enquiry, and on legal obligation for waste records.
Who we share it with
Nobody, other than our web host and email provider who process it on our behalf. We do not sell data, we do not pass your details to other trades, and we do not add you to a marketing list without asking.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become jobs are deleted within 12 months. Records relating to completed work, including waste transfer notes, are kept for as long as the law requires – two years for non-hazardous waste transfer notes and three years for hazardous waste records.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email or ring us and we will deal with it. If you are not happy with how we have handled your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
