Rubbish removal the way it should work: you ring or send a photo, we tell you a price, and then we turn up and clear it. We do the carrying, the loading and the disposal, and the number we quoted is the number you pay.
What it costs
| Load | Roughly what fits | Price |
|---|---|---|
| Bagged waste | Household waste, bagged and ready | from £3 a bag |
| Fridge or freezer | Per item | from £15 |
| Quarter load | 12–15 bin bags, or a small bedroom | Send a photo |
| Half load | A garage, a small garden, two rooms of furniture | Send a photo |
| Three-quarter load | A large garage or a full garden strip | Send a photo |
| Full load | A house clearance or a big builders job | Send a photo |
Send one photo and you will have a fixed figure back, usually the same day – and that figure is the one you pay. How the load sizes work.
What is included – and what is not added on
Included in every price: collection, all the loading and carrying, transport, disposal at a permitted site, a sweep up afterwards, and written confirmation of what we took if you want it.
Not added on afterwards: call-out fees, stair charges, carrying charges, fuel surcharges, or a “gate fee” discovered at the tip. Some of the bigger operators covering this area advertise a micro load at £25 and then add nearly £60 as a call-out. Others charge £10 a flight of stairs and £30 for carrying more than ten metres. We do not do any of that, and we think it is a poor way to treat people.
We take it from where it is
Upstairs, in the loft, down the cellar, at the bottom of the garden, behind a locked garage door. The price is the same. This is the single biggest practical difference between us and a council bulky collection – every council in this area will only take what you have already carried out to the kerb yourself.
Same-day collection
Ring before midday and there is a good chance we can clear it that afternoon, particularly in Machen, Bedwas, Trethomas, Caerphilly and Risca – we are minutes away. Cardiff, Newport, Penarth and Barry are a daily run. If we cannot get to you today, we will say so rather than leave you waiting in.
What we take
- General household waste and black bags
- Furniture, beds, wardrobes and white goods
- Sofas, armchairs and mattresses
- Fridges, freezers and electricals
- Garden waste, soil, turf and decking
- Rubble, tiles, brick and hardcore
- Old kitchens, bathrooms and flooring
- Shed and garage clear-outs
- Office and shop furniture
- Loft and cellar contents
What we cannot take
- Asbestos of any kind
- Gas bottles and cylinders
- Chemicals, solvents, oils and fuel
- Tyres
- Clinical or medical waste
Ring us anyway if you have got any of those and we will tell you who locally does handle it.
Where your rubbish actually goes
Straight to landfill is the lazy answer and the expensive one – Landfill Disposals Tax in Wales is £130.75 a tonne at the standard rate for 2026–27, which is considerably higher than England. So there is every reason to sort a load properly, and we do.
Metal, wood, cardboard, plastics, textiles and electricals are separated for recycling. Green waste goes for composting. Fridges go to a permitted facility for degassing, and upholstered furniture goes down the separate POPs route. What genuinely cannot be reused or recycled goes to a permitted disposal site, and we can show you the paperwork.
