These are the terms on which we provide waste collection and clearance services. They are written to be read, not to catch anybody out.
Quotes
Quotes are given on the basis of the information and photographs you provide. If what is actually there is materially different from what was described – significantly more of it, heavier waste, or items we cannot legally take – we will tell you before we start and agree a revised price with you. We will not add charges after the work is done.
Quotes are valid for 30 days.
Access and parking
Please make sure we can get to the waste and park reasonably close to it. If access has been described inaccurately and we cannot complete the job, we may need to charge for the wasted visit.
What we cannot accept
We cannot take asbestos, gas bottles or cylinders, chemicals, solvents, oils or fuel, tyres, clinical or medical waste, or anything else requiring a specialist licence. If such items are found in a load we will leave them and tell you why.
Your responsibilities
Please remove anything you want to keep before we arrive and check the load with us if you are present. Once waste has been collected and disposed of it cannot be recovered. We take reasonable care to identify obviously personal items during house clearances, but we cannot be responsible for items left in furniture or containers that were not pointed out to us.
Payment
Payment is due on completion unless an account has been agreed in advance. We accept cash, card and bank transfer. Account customers are invoiced monthly on 30-day terms.
Cancellation
You can cancel at any time before we set off at no charge. If we have already travelled to you, a reasonable charge for the wasted journey may apply.
Our obligations as a waste carrier
We are registered with Natural Resources Wales as an upper tier waste carrier. All waste is taken to permitted facilities and we issue waste transfer notes for commercial collections as required by section 34 of the Environmental Protection Act 1990. Householders can request written confirmation of what was collected at any time.
Liability
We carry public liability insurance and will put right any damage we cause. Our liability is limited to the value of the loss and does not extend to indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for anything else that cannot be limited in law.
Complaints
If something has gone wrong, ring us first. We would far rather fix it than have it sit unresolved.
