Caerphilly is ten minutes from our base in Machen and it is where we do more work than anywhere else. House clearances, garden clear-outs, builders waste from the constant run of extensions and loft conversions, and a lot of single items people simply cannot shift on their own.
Fly-tipping in Caerphilly county borough rose 63% in 2024-25, and the councillor responsible put it squarely down to disposal getting harder – changes to collections, recycling rules and tip access. We would rather be the easy legal option than have another sofa end up in a lane off the Nantgarw road.
What we clear in Caerphilly
Everything a household or a business produces short of the specialist stuff: house and flat clearances, garden and garage clear-outs, builders waste and rubble, single items like sofas, mattresses, fridges and washing machines, shop and office clearances, and bagged household waste when you have simply got more than the council will take.
We cannot take asbestos, gas bottles, chemicals, oils, tyres or clinical waste. If you have got any of those, ring us anyway and we will point you at somebody who can.
What it costs in Caerphilly
Same prices here as everywhere else we cover - we do not load a price because of your postcode.
| What you have got | Roughly | Price |
|---|---|---|
| Bagged household waste | Per bag | from £3 a bag |
| Fridge or freezer | Per item | from £15 |
| Quarter or half load | A bedroom, a garage, a small garden | Send a photo |
| Full load | A house clearance or a builders job | Send a photo |
Everything is included: we load it, we take it, we dispose of it and we do the paperwork. Send one photo and you will have a fixed price back, usually the same day. See how the load sizes work.

We would rather you knew all of them, including the ones that do not involve paying us.
The council collection
Caerphilly County Borough Council runs a bulky waste collection at £28 for up to three items, rising to £43 for six, which is the most they will take in one collection. If you can wait for a slot and you can get the items out to the kerb yourself, it is cheaper than we are and you should use it. Where it falls down is that it is kerbside only, there is a limit on items, and the refusal list is long - no building materials, no garden waste, no tyres, no paint, no car parts.
Us
Right when it is heavy, awkward, upstairs, urgent, or on the council’s refusal list. We carry it out, you do not lift anything, and it is gone today rather than in three weeks.
Getting to you
Caerphilly town centre has loading restrictions and the streets around the castle get busy from mid-morning, so we try to do town-centre jobs early. The steeper streets up towards Penyrheol and Hendredenny are fine for the van but often mean a longer carry from where we can safely park - which does not change your price. Llanbradach, Abertridwr and Senghenydd have plenty of terraced rows with back lanes, and we will always check which end is easier before we set off.
