Before the new kitchen goes in, the old one has to come out – and that is the part that holds jobs up. Fitters charge to do it and then leave it stacked in the garden. We take it out and take it with us, same visit.
What we strip out
- Kitchens – units, worktops, tiling, splashbacks, appliances and flooring
- Bathrooms – suites, panelling, tiling, screens and old boxing-in
- Flooring – carpet, underlay, laminate, vinyl, floorboards and adhesive-stuck tiles
- Fitted furniture – wardrobes, shelving, cupboards, old built-in units
- Shop and office fit-outs – counters, shelving, partitions, signage, suspended ceilings
- Garden structures – sheds, decking, old conservatory frames
How it works
- Send photos or let us look. Kitchens and bathrooms are hard to price blind, so a quick look round is usually worth the ten minutes.
- Fixed price for the whole job – strip out and clearance together, not a day rate that grows.
- We take it out. Carefully where it matters, quickly where it does not.
- It leaves with us. Nothing stacked in the garden waiting for a skip.
- Swept and ready for the fitter, plumber or tiler to start.
What we will not touch
We are a clearance firm, not a demolition contractor, and we are straight about where the line is:
- No gas work. Cookers and boilers need disconnecting by a Gas Safe registered engineer before we arrive.
- No electrical disconnection. Get a qualified electrician to isolate anything hard-wired.
- No structural work. Walls, lintels and anything load-bearing is a builder’s job.
- No asbestos. Old artex, floor tiles, bath panels and garage roofs can all contain it. If it is suspected, stop and get it tested – much of this is licensed work under the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012.
Tell us what state the services are in when you ring and we will tell you what needs doing first. It saves a wasted visit.
For landlords and agents
If you are turning a property round between tenancies, we can strip out and clear in the same visit, work to a date, and invoice the agency rather than take payment on the day. Waste transfer notes issued as standard.
