Sometimes you have not got a van load. You have got eleven bags in the hallway, a fortnight to wait for the next collection, and a council bag limit that means half of it will be left on the pavement anyway.
We will come and take them. From £3 a bag, and we can usually do it the same day.
What it costs
| How many | Price |
|---|---|
| Per bag | from £3 a bag |
| Ten bags | £30 |
| Twenty bags | £60 |
| More than about 25 bags | cheaper as a quarter load – ask |
Past roughly 25 bags you are better off on load pricing, and we will tell you that rather than let you count your way to a bigger bill. A quarter load holds more than bags alone – it takes bulkier items too.
When people use this
- After a big clear-out – a loft, a garage, a spare room emptied in one weekend
- Recycling rule changes – when what used to be collected suddenly is not
- Missed or limited collections – bag restrictions mean the rest gets left
- End of tenancy – when everything has to be gone by Friday
- After a party, an event or a house move
- No car – the tip is free, but not if you cannot get there
A word about fly-tipping
Wales recorded 48,367 fly-tipping incidents in 2024–25, up 15% on the year before, and 71% of it was household waste. In Caerphilly county borough, reported incidents rose 63%. The councillor responsible put much of it down to collections and tip access getting harder: when legal disposal becomes difficult, waste ends up in lanes and on riverbanks instead.
We would rather be the easy legal option. And it is worth knowing that if you pay someone to take those bags and they dump them, you can be issued a £300 fixed penalty in Wales for not checking they were registered – so check us, and check anyone else. Here is how.
What can go in the bags
General household waste, clothing and textiles, small household items, packaging, and the contents of a cleared cupboard or loft. What cannot: chemicals, paint, oils, gas canisters, batteries, clinical waste or anything hot. If in doubt, ring and ask – it takes ten seconds.
