Trethomas is on our doorstep. Small jobs that other firms will not touch because the travel does not pay – three bags, a single mattress, a fridge – are worth doing here simply because we are already passing.
If you are in Trethomas and you have got something awkward to shift, ring rather than assuming it is too small a job.
What we clear in Trethomas
Everything a household or a business produces short of the specialist stuff: house and flat clearances, garden and garage clear-outs, builders waste and rubble, single items like sofas, mattresses, fridges and washing machines, shop and office clearances, and bagged household waste when you have simply got more than the council will take.
We cannot take asbestos, gas bottles, chemicals, oils, tyres or clinical waste. If you have got any of those, ring us anyway and we will point you at somebody who can.
What it costs in Trethomas
Same prices here as everywhere else we cover - we do not load a price because of your postcode.
| What you have got | Roughly | Price |
|---|---|---|
| Bagged household waste | Per bag | from £3 a bag |
| Fridge or freezer | Per item | from £15 |
| Quarter or half load | A bedroom, a garage, a small garden | Send a photo |
| Full load | A house clearance or a builders job | Send a photo |
Everything is included: we load it, we take it, we dispose of it and we do the paperwork. Send one photo and you will have a fixed price back, usually the same day. See how the load sizes work.
Your other options in Trethomas
We would rather you knew all of them, including the ones that do not involve paying us.
The council collection
Caerphilly County Borough Council runs a bulky waste collection at £28 for up to three items, rising to £43 for six, which is the most they will take in one collection. If you can wait for a slot and you can get the items out to the kerb yourself, it is cheaper than we are and you should use it. Where it falls down is that it is kerbside only, there is a limit on items, and the refusal list is long - no building materials, no garden waste, no tyres, no paint, no car parts.
Us
Right when it is heavy, awkward, upstairs, urgent, or on the council’s refusal list. We carry it out, you do not lift anything, and it is gone today rather than in three weeks.
Getting to you
Straightforward for us - it is barely a mile up the road. The terraced streets have back lanes that are usable but tight, so we will normally load from the front unless there is a good reason not to.
Regularly working in and around: Trethomas, Bryn Road, Navigation Street and the streets running down towards the Rhymney.
